TEXAS EQUINE
RESEARCH ACCOUNT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Equine Research Account Advisory Committee is
composed of 11 members appointed by the Director of the Texas
Agricultural Experiment Station as follows:

Two members of the Institute of Equine Science
and Technology of The Texas A&M University System and of
the faculty of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences,
Texas A&M University, selected after consultation with the
dean of the College: David Forrest and John
McNeill
- Two members of the Institute for Equine Science and Technology
of The Texas A&M University System and of the faculty of the
College of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University, selected
after consultation with the dean of the College: DicksonVarner
and Kent Carter
- Two members affiliated with research organizations that have
equine research capabilities: Heidi Brady and
Jeff Pendergraft
- Five members that must be residents of this state and have a
demonstrated in horse racing and breeding industries in this state,
with one selected from a list of names submitted by each of the
following:
